Following the discovery of Parker by a hunting buddy, Life Flight transported him to the Pensacola hospital where he was examined by doctors.
After an initial examination, he was transferred to UAB in Birmingham for further treatment of the injuries.
The accident occurred on leased hunting land off U.S. Highway 29 in the Findley Lane area. According to reporrs, a family member transported Parker from the accident site to a waiting ambulance, which transported him to a location on U.S. 29 to be flown by LifeFlight.
