Mrs. Ida Boutwell, 78, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006, in Mobile. She was a native of Munich, Germany, and had lived most of her life in Flomaton. She attended Little Escambia Baptist Church and was an active member of her community. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Boutwell, and a son, Edward &#8220Eddie” Boutwell.
She is survived by her son, Tony Boutwell of Mobile.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 21, at 10 a.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Morgan officiating. Burial followed at Traveler's Rest Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel directing. Pallbearers were Clifford Givens, Jerry Lambeth, Jimmy Carden, Jerry Johnson, Shorty Hardy and W.T. Gafford.
