Brother considered hero
I am writing this letter to inform all of the readers of this newspaper that my brother, Joey Wyatt, was not cutting with a torch on the tank nor had a clue that anybody was using a torch on the tank that exploded and almost took the life of him and his 7 year old daughter, Tori.
Joey and Tori were just innocent bystanders in the wrong place at the wrong time. If you ask me, my brother is a “hero”.
Joey acted as all of us fathers hope and pray that we will in a tragedy. Joey would not accept any care for his burns and injuries until after emergency personnel had taken care of Tori, and even though Joey was badly injured and in pain, he would not show it in front of his daughter for fear of scaring her.
I also want to thank everyone for their support, gifts and prayers for the family. Joey and Pam are very blessed to have friends and family like you.
