Mrs. Edna Mallory Preyer, 77, died Dec. 27, 2006. She was a native and resident of Evergreen. She was a member of Belleville Missionary Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, William Preyer; a son, George Larry Preyer and two brothers.
She is survived by seven children, Alice (Jimmy) Baldwin, Sandra (Dwight) McWilliams, Jerol Preyer and Kenneth Preyer, all of Evergreen, Cheryl (Fred) Barton of Brewton, Anthony (Kim) Preyer of Albany, Ga., and Cathy (Kevin) Briggs of Upper Marlboro, Md.; one sister, Cherrie Bell (Jimmy) Montgomery of Atmore; 15 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one adopted son, Seamore Davison; two adopted daughters, Mulesher Davison and Annette Stallworth and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Dec. 31, at 2 p.m. at Belleville Missionary Baptist Church at Evergreen with Dr. Sidney C. Tucker officiating. Burial followed at Belleville Church Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
