Mr. Preston &#8220Peb” McNeil, 71, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at a Pensacola hospital. He was a native of Georgiana, a former resident of Atmore for most of his life, and a resident of East Brewton for the past four months. He was preceded in death by a son, James Darrell McNeil.
He is survived by a son, Troy McNeil of East Brewton; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a sister, Inez Fordham of McCullough.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan. 3, at 1 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. C.L. Langford officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Georgiana. Pallbearers were Thelton McNeil, Willie Frank Hall, Wayne Johnson, Claude Tuberville, Bo Ward and J.J. Odom.
