Many people have made resolutions to take better care of themselves during 2007. One area often overlooked when caring for oneself is an area of finances.
Debbie Hardee, assistant vice president at BankTrust of Brewton, spoke to the &#8220Man to Man” group at D.W. McMillan Hospital on Wednesday, to give information on protecting against identity theft.
Hardee's speech was the first in a series of speeches to be made by BankTrust employees during the coming month at D.W. McMillan Hospital.
DeGraaf has made arrangements for presentations on protecting finances to groups meeting this month at the hospital.
Presentations will be made during the Bosom Buddies meeting set for Jan. 18 at noon and to the DWM Senior Health Advantage group on Jan. 25 at 10 a.m. Both of those meetings will be conducted in the Education Center at the hospital.
At the close of the presentation, Hardee posed questions to those in attendance to determine their knowledge of the problem of identity theft.
