Mr. Herb Dobbins, 77, died Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, in Flomaton. He was a native of Marietta, Ga., and a resident of Flomaton since 1976. He was a veteran of Viet Nam and the Korean Conflict and attended Catawba Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Voncile Reid Dobbins of Flomaton; two daughters, Patricia Edwards of Houston, Texas, and Jean Dobbins of Atlanta, Ga.; a brother, George Jackson Dobbins of Marietta and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Jan. 14, at 2 p.m. at the Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Yuhasz and the Rev. Dexter Truesdale officating. Burial will follow at Byrneville Cemetery with Petty-Eastside directing.
