Mr. Miker &#8220Get Down” Dwayne Crook, 26, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2007. He was a native and resident of Brunswick.
He is survived by his mother, Brennetta (Randy) Scott of Brunswick; three sisters, April Crook, Shaquita Taylor and Candace Scott all of Brunswick; a brother, Keith Crook of Brunswick; his grandmother, Nan Mosby of Castleberry; two aunts, Mattie (Calep) Crook and Joette Knight, both of Brewton; an uncle, Jimmy Lee (Joy) Mosby Jr. of Hawaii; a dear friend, LaTesha Denise Sams of Jacksonville, Fla., and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Knight.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 20, at 2 p.m. at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Moses Atwood officiating. Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
