The old W.S. Neal Middle School will soon be demolished, the Escambia County School Board decided Thursday.
School board members also decided Thursday to contract with a new Web hosting company to develop an interactive Web site.
The actual cost of the bid from Edline, an educational Web hosting service, is $15,672 per year, but Hines said most of that cost will be paid for by the state.
The site will allow parents to log in to view their children's grades and also see updated school calendars and other features.
