Mr. Daniel Stephen &#8220Steve” Scott, Sr., 38, died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007, in Molino. He was a native and lifelong resident of Century, Fla., an employee with Deep South Crane of Pensacola, and attended the Bratt First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Daniel Scott, Pearlie Scott and Gordain Dunsford.
He is survived by his wife, Melana Scott of Century, Fla.; two sons, Daniel Stephen &#8220Stevie” Scott Jr. and Trevor Dillan &#8220T.D.” Scott, both of Century; his daughter, Taylor Grant of McDavid, Fla.; his parents, Billy Joe and Faye Scott of Century; two sisters, Phyllis (Keith) Faulk and Joe Ellen Gunn of Century; and his step-father, A.T. Dunsford of Foley.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 4, at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Marcus Caraway officiating. Burial followed at Bryneville Cemetery with Petty-Eastside directing. Pallbearers were Howard Holley, Tommy Calloway, Jeff Nolin, Corey Parrish, William Odom and Eddie Dunsford. Honorary pallbearers were Steve Dunsford and Earl Garrett.
