Four W.S. Neal High School players took advantage of college football's first day of the national signing period to make their choices official Wednesday. Front row from left, tight end Justin Howard chose Jacksonville State, left guard Jared Cooper signed with Auburn, and both wide receiver Jonathan Alexander and running back Nykeem Barton picked Tuskegee. Howard's family representatives are grandmother Marilyn Hall, mother Shannon Howard and father Jeffrey Hall. Cooper's representatives are father Keith Cooper, mother Sue Cooper and sister Caitlin Cooper. Alexander's representatives are mother Velma Alexander and grandmother Goldia Alexander. Barton's representatives are father Emmitt Hawthorne and mother Felicia Barton. The four players have been coached at W.S. Neal by Blaine Hathcock.
