Couples who have been married for 25 years or longer have a special invitation to attend a commemorative event at the Governor's Mansion in Montgomery.
A marriage celebration reception will be held Sunday, Feb. 18, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the South Perry Street address.
First Lady of Alabama Patsy Riley, along with her husband, Bob, have planned a reception to recognize the accomplishments of loving, caring partners who are joined together and committed to the institution of marriage.
Anyone interested in attending the special celebration should RSVP by calling (334) 844-3299. For Governors Mansion security purpose's, RSVP's are required. Sunday dress will be acceptable attire for the event.
