Andrew Chavers and Terrence Walker apparently did not grow tired of being teammates for the past four because they plan to be teammates for another four years at Carson-Newman College.
The T.R. Miller Tigers duo put their name on the dotted line to play for the NCAA Division II school Wednesday on college football's national signing day.
Chavers and Walker will be reunited with former teammate Antonio Gomez, who redshirted at Carson-Newman this past fall. Former Tiger Rayvon
Howard has also gone through the Carson-Newman program.
Chavers moved from the offensive line to tight end for this past season. Chavers expects to move back to the line for college.
Riggs expects Chavers to have a smooth transition back to the offensive line.
Walker was second on the Tigers this past season in tackles from his defensive back position in the Tigers' secondary.
Riggs said Walker has a nose for the ball.
