Mr. Charlie Frank Grantham, 73, died Monday, Feb. 19, 2007, in a local hospital after an extended illness. He was a native and life long resident of Escambia County. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a retired machinest from Brewton Iron Works with 15 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, June Billy Grantham of East Brewton; a son, Thomas Frank (Cindy) Grantham of Milton, Fla.; a daughter, Alison (Charles) Rose of East Brewton; three brothers, Ray Grantham and Pee Wee Grantham, both of East Brewton and Don Grantham of Montgomery; a sister, Nell Green of Montgomery; five grandchildren, Timothy Frank Grantham, Tiffany Diane Cunningham, Brandon Rose, Gavin Rose and Justin Rose; and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brewton Pentecostal Church.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 22, at 2 p.m. at Brewton Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Jerry Moore, the Rev. Danny Richardson, the Rev Fred Billy, and the Rev. Byrnes Pitts officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Crawford Cemetery in East Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
