Mr. Moore Kirkland Aycock, 75, of Pineview Street, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, at a local nursing facility after an extended illness. He was a native and former resident of Castleberry, and a former resident of Texas, before moving to Brewton in 2002. He was a retired air conditioner repairman and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Aycock; and sons, Steve and Michael Aycock.
He is survived by his brother, Roy &#8220Gene” (Gladys) Aycock of Brewton; a son Kenneth Hirsh of Mobile; three daughters, Marilyn Fisher and Gwen Manic, both of Mobile; and Diane Rush of Daphne; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 19, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Grady Palmer officiating. Burial followed at Cedar Creek Cemetery in Castleberry, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
