Redmon to speak Saturday

Anthony Redmon will be the guest speaker Saturday at the community wide black history program from noon to 5 p.m. at Second Saint Siloam Missionary Baptist Church on Feb. 24.
The theme of the program “Celebration of Greatness” and the guest speaker is Redmon, who is a retired professional NFL player and motivational speaker.
Redmon is a native of Brewton and a graduate of T.R. Miller High School and Auburn University.
He and his wife, Stephanie and two daughters, Haleigh and Kelseigh live in Opelika.
He is employed at Michelin of North America and holds a position as a Michelin Manufacturing Way coordinator. His job is to implant the Manufacturing system.
He is a born again Christian who does a lot speaking engagements to various youth groups around the Opelika and Atlanta areas.
His goal in life is to encourage youth and adults with words that encourage them to do their best and never give up.
He also wants them to use their talents that God has given them.
