Mrs. Linda Faye Byrd, 48, died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007, in Pensacola, Fla. She was a native of Century, Fla., and a resident of Pollard for the past 25 years. She attended Little Escambia Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Byrd.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, James Lamar Byrd of Pollard; a son, Grant Byrd of Pollard; two daughters, Candy Fain of Brewton, and Grace Byrd of Pollard; two brothers, Gene Lawson of Biloxi, Miss., and Ray Lawson of Century; two sisters, Marie Dunsford of Foley and Pat Cobb of Lafayette, Ala.; and two grandchildren, Ariell Fain and Christian Fain.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 2:30 p.m. at the Little Escambia Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Hogg and the Rev. Jeff Howard officiating and Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
