Mrs. Bessie Louise Lynch Page, 92, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007 in a local hospital. She was a native of Walker Springs and had lived in the Brewton area since 1942, coming from Jackson. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Brewton and a member of the church's United Methodist Women. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Leo Page Sr.
She is survived by a son, Robert Leo (Barbara) Page Jr. of Brewton; a daughter, Rebecca Page (Rodney W.) Byard of Montgomery; five grandchildren, Robert Leo (Jeanette) Page III, Lynda Leigh (Allen) Stringfellow, Nina Page (Tom) Winkler, Leslie Anne Byard (Michael) Benner and Philip Byard; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 2, at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of Brewton with Dr. Ed Glaize officiating. Burial followed at Union Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Robert Leo Page III, Allen Stringfellow, Tom Winkler, Philip Byard, Michael Benner and Robert Leo Page IV.
