TRM B team football
sets 2007 schedule
The T.R. Miller Tigers football team has set its B team schedule for 2007.
T.R. Miller will open the campaign Sept. 4 with a 6:30 p.m. contest at Opp, which is coached by former longtime Tigers offensive line coach Jack Whigham.
The first home game for the Tigers will be Sept. 17 when they entertain Escambia County at 6:30 p.m. T.R. Miller also has home games against W.S. Neal, Andalusia and Opp.
The complete schedule is as follows.

JDCC softball signs
The Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawks softball team has signed Chelsea Cowart, a
pitcher/shortstop from Maurepas, La.
Cowart is the fourth member of Nims' 2008 recruiting class. JDCC had earlier signed Daleville pitcher Carla Ray, Dale County pitcher Kayla McKnight and Stanhope Elmore catcher Jami Lott.
Brewton Babe Ruth sets registration information
The Brewton Babe Ruth League will be accepting registration for the upcoming season Tuesday and Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the T.R. Miller Fieldhouse.
Applications are in the process of being sent to returning players. New and incoming players can pick up applications in the office at W.S. Neal Middle and High School, Brewton Middle School and T.R. Miller High School.
Registration cost is $10. Players should bring a copy of their birth certificate at the time of registration. The league is for players age 13-15.
