Mr. Kenneth Wayne Howell, 63, of Woods Road, died Saturday, March 3, 2007, at a Mobile hospital after a brief illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Escambia County, Ala., and had owned and operated Atmore Machine Shop for many years. He was of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Pam Howell of Atmore; a son, Kenneth George (Sherry) Howell of Birmingham; a daughter, Karen Miranda (Rodney) Hale of Selma; three brothers, Renny Howell of Pensacola, Fla., Lavon Howell of Flomaton and Rondal Howell of Brewton; two sisters, Reva Harper and Grace Harris, both of Brewton, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 6, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Grady Palmer officiating. Burial followed at Catawba Springs Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
