Mrs. Pauline Schad Holman, 90, died Friday, March 9, 2007, in a local hospital after a brief illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Escambia County. She was a member of East Brewton First United Methodist Church and a retired secretary from the Escambia County Board of Education with over 40 years of service.
She is survived by a son, Walter Holman of East Brewton; a daughter, Carol Howington of Mississippi; three grandchildren, Jim Howington Jr., Julie Holman and Heather Miller; and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 12, at 2 p.m. at East Brewton First United Methodist Church with the Rev. George Weaver officiating. Burial followed at Fort Crawford Cemetery in East Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
