Ms. Cecilia Leigh Fuqua, 26, died Friday, March 9, 2007, in Johnson City, Tenn. She was a native of East Brewton and a resident of Telford for the past two years. She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Fuqua Jr., and her grandfather, Leroy Fuqua Sr.
She is survived by her mother, Polly Bell Fuqua of East Brewton; her son, Blaketon Johnson of Brewton; her daughter, Aireanna Mystique Fuqua of Telford; a brother, John Phillip Fuqua of Novinger, Mo.; her grandparents, William Kilby and Edna Bell of Flomaton, Evelyn Jeanette Fuqua of Brewton; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 16, at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Parkerson officiating. Burial followed at Fuqua Haveard Cemetery with Petty-Eastside directing. Pallbearers were Gary Phillips, Jamie O'Guynn, Jeff Boles, Matthew Bell, Bo Johnston and Greg Miller. Honorary pallbearer was Garrett Hammac.
