Three members of Cornerstone Community Church of God in Brewton represented their church on March 24 in Birmingham at the State Junior Talent Competition sponsored by the Church of God of Alabama organization for the 2007 calendar year.
Competing in the creative writing competition was Landon Tindell, who is the son of Larry and Lisa Tindell.
Connor Rush, son of Dru and Connie Rush, won the state title in the instrumental division for his mandolin selection and won the runner-up honors in the male vocal solo division with a rendition of &#8220Sing to the King”.
Madeline Frazier, daughter of Tony and Patty Frazier, took runner-up honors for her coloring work in the art division.
