If you have any interest in the proposed location of the new Wal-Mart Supercenter that is to be built at the intersection of U.S. Highway 31 North and Old Castleberry Road across from the Dogwood Hills Golf Course, please attend the public hearing that will be held on Wednesday, April 11, at 4 p.m. in the council chambers in the Brewton City Hall.

Hi. My name is Sam R. and I am a fifth grade student at West Ridge Elementary School in Harlan, IA.
My class is studying the geography and history of the United States.
I would appreciate it if you would send me postcards, souvenirs, or other information about Alabama so my classmates and I can learn more about our country.

My name is Emilee Hall. In my fifth-grade class, we are doing a state research project, and I will be doing my project on Alabama. This is due at the end of May, and it will cover such topics as famous people from Brewton and Alabama, your special state traditions and the history of Brewton and Alabama.
The reason that I am writing to your local paper is to ask if you could publish my letter in your paper. I am hoping some of the members of your community would write to me and tell me about their experiences and traditions in Brewton.
I would even enjoy it if they would share their favorite recipes with me. I live in southern California and am sure things about Brewton are very different from where I live.
Also, if any of the citizens find time to reply, it would be great if they could enclose a copy of my published letter.
