Mrs. Eva Mae Dole, 95, died Wednesday, April 11, 2007, in Century. She was a native of Bratt, Fla., a resident of Century for most of her life and attended the Beulah Chapel Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Dole; a daughter, Eva Jo Dole; two sons, Dickie Dole and Edwin Dole; a grandson, Farron Davis; her parents, Ollie and Amanda Hanks Gilley; and two brothers, Angus K. Gilley and Olin M. Gilley.
She is survived by her son, Charles W. &#8220Billy” Dole of Century; her daughter, Myra Jean (Charles) Steadham of Atmore; a daughter-in-law, Carol T. Dole of Century; 32 grandchildren; two brothers, James S. Gilley of Century, and W.T. Gilley of Cantonment, Fla.; a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 14, at 2:30 p.m. at the Beulah Chapel Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Shelton Kindig and the Rev. Ray Johnson officiating. Burial followed at Godwin Cemetery with Petty Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Eric Steadham, Dale Steadham, Kevin Bryan, Kenny Davis, Bobby Franklin and Tracy Steadham.
