Brewton Community Theatre is ready for the performances to begin.
Auditions for the first production of the group will be held Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. in the campus chapel on the Alabama State University campus (the old Southern Normal Campus).
Gleaton said the group is looking for actors and actresses of all ages and races.
The performance will be presented to the public at the Jefferson Davis Community College in the Woodfin Patterson Auditorium.
The group is still searching for members to become a part of the plans and presentations planned for the coming year. However, Gleaton says it is not necessary to be a member to audition.
Gleaton said the group currently has 12 official members with others showing an interest in the theatre troupe.
Gleaton said workers are need for sound, lighting, set design and decoration, costumes, props and a variety of other area where manpower will be needed.
Those who may be interested in becoming a member of the Brewton Community Theatre or who are looking for additional information concerning auditions are invited to contact Gleaton at 238-2485.
