4A playoffs start Tuesday
The T.R. Miller Tigers baseball team will open up the Class 4A state playoffs Tuesday at 5 p.m. at St. James.
The first round of the playoffs is single elimination. The T.R. Miller/St. James winner will advance to the second round against the Jackson/Central-Tuscaloosa winner. The second round, which will be played Friday and Saturday, will be a best-of-three series as will each of the three remaining postseason rounds.
If T.R. Miller wins, it will travel to Central-Tuscaloosa and will host Jackson.
