Two Pensacola, Fla., residents were injured Monday morning in a one-vehicle wreck on U.S. 31 just north of Brewton.
Reisa Diane Dean, the driver of a 1996 Dodge truck, was transported to D.W. McMillan Hospital by ambulance after the truck overturned off the highway, according to state trooper reports.
Passenger Steven Pate was also injured and had to be transported by Life Flight from the scene.
Traffic was backed up in both directions as emergency crews worked the scene.
Brewton firefighters, Appleton Volunteer Fire Department officials, state troopers and Escambia County Sheriff's deputies responded.
No other information was available about the incident.
