Mrs. Katherine Weaver Smith, 75, died Thursday, April 26, 2007, in a Birmingham healthcare facility.
She was a lifelong resident of the Brewton area. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church of East Brewton.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Frank Smith of Appleton Road; four sisters, Laura Day of East Brewton, and Ruth Nolan, Lorraine Burrell, and Sara Drollinger, all of Brewton; special nieces, Melanie Sanders, Linda Miller, Polly Ward and Carolyn Doster; and other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 28, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with the Rev. George Weaver officiating. Burial followed at Weaver Family Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
