Get those taste buds ready; Brewton is adding another new restaurant to the downtown area.
World of Wings - W.O.W. - is getting ready to open its doors on Monday.
The eatery is located in the old Robbins &McGowin building. Although the old department store has not changed much on the outside, it has gone through a major transformation inside. The first floor is the only space that will be used for the time being and it has been sectioned off into several areas. Ten booths along the walls will have their own televisions so that families can enjoy their meals and keep the children satisfied at the same time.
Owners Greg and Donna Windling seem excited about their new venture into the &#8220World of Wings.” This is their first restaurant; they own several pharmacies in Louisiana.
Windling and her family have been hard at work to get the building ready for customers.
The couple's daughter-in-law, Hollie Singley of Jay, will manage the business.
When W.O.W. opens Monday, there will be something for everyone. The business will be open every day at 11 a.m. and stay open until 9 p.m. from Sunday through Thursday and 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The restaurant will serve both a lunch and dinner including wraps, salads, wings, shrimp and many other things.
World of Wings is a franchise business based in Louisiana, and the one in Brewton will be the first one to open in Alabama.
