Honors day set at TRM

The Parent-Teacher Organization of T.R. Miller High School and school officials have announced the date for the 2007 Honor's Day Program to recognize academic achievements of ninth, tenth, eleventh grade students.
This year's program is set for Wednesday, May 9 in the school auditorium. Principal Donnie Rotch, faculty members, community and PTO representatives will recognize many outstanding students during the program. Awards for national, state and local accomplishments will be presented.
Awards will be presented for scholastic achievement, personal achievement, academic improvement, cultural arts achievement and leadership. More than 100 students from grades 9-11 will receive one or more awards.
The parents of the students, as well as other family and friends, are invited to attend the ceremonies. Juniors will be recognized beginning at 8:15 a.m. with sophomores recognized at 9:15 a.m. and freshmen at 10:15 a.m.
