Mrs. Brenda Kay Williamson, 50, died Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at her Milton residence. She was a native of Brewton and had been a resident of Milton for the past 13 years, coming from Pensacola, Fla. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her son, Johnny B. Carter Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Clinton Williamson of Milton; three daughters, Christy Franklin of Brewton, Tanny Carmack of Pace, Fla., and Doreen Rogers of Baker, Fla.; three brothers, Ronnie, Charles and William; one step-brother, Craig; four sisters, Linda, Connie, Susan and Cathy; two step-sisters, Annette and Helen; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 12, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with the Rev. Manuel Bennett and pastor James Gay officiating. Burial followed at Pineview Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Ronald Steele, Charles Steele, William Steele, Daniel Jewell, Albert Willis, William Quiggins, and Derek Willis.
