Jefferson Davis Community College in Atmore will soon offer students the chance to get a 4-year degree at their campus through Faulkner University.
JDCC Dean of Instruction Kathleen Hall said that as of right now, the college will only be adding the one degree.
The BBA courses offered by Faulkner University are taught by business professionals. The university has a high graduate rate and a high number of accomplishments and advancements of their alumni.
The program is not only designed to increase business knowledge but personal assets of character, intelligence and creative thinking, according to a Faulkner University information packet.
However, there are some qualifications for the program, Dunn said.
The opportunity is a service to community college's throughout the state, according to Dunn.
Hall is thankful that Faulkner University has taken interest in JDCC students.
