Brewton residents among UA graduates

The University of Alabama awarded some 2,714 degrees during spring commencement Saturday, May 12 on campus.
With this graduating class, UA has awarded more than 200,000 degrees since its founding in 1831 as the state's first public university.
Those graduates who are residents of Brewton are Edward Leigh McMillan IV with a juris doctor degree; Marshall A McDowell with a bachelor's degree; Susan Dibrell Miller with a bachelor's degree; Lindsey R Smith with a bachelor's degree; Rebecca F Stallworth with a bachelor's degree; William Dowlen Stokes with a bachelor's degree.
