Brewton residents served by the local Meals on Wheels organization won't have to wonder where their next meal is coming from, thanks to action by the Brewton City Council Tuesday.
Cooper told the council during Tuesday's meeting the vehicle provided would need to be replaced somehow if the program was to continue for the more than 25 meals provided by the group.
Cooper further told the council those who are served by the Meals on Wheels program are isolated with little or no contact from any other individual or agencies.
Cooper said she approached the council hoping they could help her.
Jennings received approval from the council to pass on a vehicle currently being used by Ray Madden in the Brewton Water Department.
