Brewton school and city officials will meet Tuesday to discuss possible locations for a new Brewton Middle School.
A joint site planning committee for the City of Brewton and Brewton City Schools will meet at 4 p.m. at the meeting room at the Brewton City Board of Education office on Belleville Avenue.
School officials have said they are considering locating the school near Dogwood Hills, where the city owns a golf course and other recreational facilities.
Supporters of the golf course have expressed concern the facility would be closed, but both city and school officials said that, no matter what, the golf course will remain in operation.
The public is invited to attend Tuesday's meeting.
