Devil Rays deal Twins first Babe Ruth loss

The last of the unbeatens in the Brewton Babe Ruth is no longer unbeaten thanks to a stunning rally by the Devil Rays.
The Devil Rays dealt the Twins their first loss of the season when they scored eight times in the bottom of the fifth for a 14-13 victory Tuesday. The game ended on the time limit after the fifth inning.
Cody Swain capped off the comeback when he tripled home the tying run and scored the winning run on an error.
The Twins bounced back from their first loss of the season Thursday when they downed the Orioles 5-2. The Twins improved to 8-1 for the season and stretched their lead over the idle second place Nationals (7-3) to a game and a half.
Devil Rays 14, Twins 13
DEVIL RAYS: Dodson Herrington allowed two runs on one hit with two strikeouts over two innings to get the win. Herrington also had a single and scored two runs. Eli Tyree had a single, a double and scored three runs. Cody Swain had a single, a triple and scored two runs. Ryland Dixon and Austin Redash scored a run. Gary McGraw had a single and scored a run. Trevor Diercks scored two runs. Tyson Godwin had two singles and scored a run. Jon Ellis had three singles and scored a run.
TWINS: Lane Cross scored two runs. Kameron Winn had three singles and scored three runs. Conner Denton had a single, a triple and scored a run. Dylan Smith had a single and scored two runs. Brian Sims had two singles. Michael Kast and Cameron Knowles had a single and scored a run. Darrion Salter scored two runs.
Orioles 11, Marlins 2
ORIOLES: Tyler Sawyer pitched a complete game four-hitter with 12 strikeouts to get the win. Trent Robinson had two singles, a double and scored three runs. Collin Graves and Logan Williamson had a single and scored two runs. Curtis Glaize had a single, a double and scored a run. Paul Busby had a single and scored a run. Tyler Nelms had two singles, a double and scored a run. Sawyer scored a run.
MARLINS: Wil Riggs scored a run. Dylan Bell, Edward Hines and Stephen Warren had a single. Neill Morris had a single and scored a run.
Nationals 20, Giants 1
NATIONALS: Hayden Cooper allowed one run on five hits with three strikeouts over three innings to get the win. Cooper and Rickey Curry scored a run. Joseph Strength, Nick Moore and Josh Palmer had a single and scored three runs. Robert Knowles had a single and scored two runs. Hunter Franklin had a single, a double and scored three runs. Devlin Crosby had two singles and scored two runs. Houston Pace had a double and scored two runs.
GIANTS: Dan Smith, Michael McGaha, Corey Rilling and Louis Miller had a single. Keith Bradley had two singles. Monterious Culliver had a single and scored a run.
Marlins 6, Giants 5
MARLINS: Stephen Warren pitched one inning of hitless and scoreless relief to get the win. Warren also had single, a double and scored three runs. Wil Riggs had a single. Spencer Waldrep and Dylan Bell had a single and scored a run. Edward Hines and Neill Morris had a single. Reid Johnson scored a run.
GIANTS: Monterious Culliver and Derek Smith had a single and scored a run. Louis Miller and Keith Bradley scored a run. Cody Bradley had a single, a double and scored a run. Michael McGaha had a double. Dan Smith had a single.
