Jackson graduates with honors

Lorie Yo'landa Jackson recently graduated magna cum laude from Mercer University in Macon, Ga.
The graduate is the daughter of Pastor Larry James Jackson and Evangelist Aundra Lee Jackson.
Jackson earned a master's degree from the School of Medicine, Marriage and Family Therapy at the college. She is a 1977 graduate of North Hardin High School and holds a bachelor's degree in social work from the University of Kentucky. Upon her high school graduation, she was honored for having perfect attendance during her 12 years at the school.
A special graduation dinner was held for the honoree in Macon following her graduation.
She is the granddaughter of L.W. and Margarite Williams of Evergreen, and the late Thomas James Lett of Bakersfield, Ca., the late Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Jackson of Brewton. She is the great-granddaughter of Katie Lee Jones and Willie Jones of Brewton.
