Mrs. Betty Bell Lyons Hines, 83, died Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at a Century health care facility after an extended illness. She was a native of Sioux City, Iowa, and a former resident of Ozark before moving to Brewton in 1990. She was a homemaker and of the Presbyterian faith.
She is survived by a son, Roy (Debbie) Hines of Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Lynda (Gary) Clements of Brewton; six grandchildren, Tammy Graves, Sean Hines, Jantzen Clements, Melissa Hines and Christopher Hines; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 8, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Greer officiating. Burial followed at Weaver Cemetery in the Appleton community with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
