Mrs. Geraldine Clifton Richards, 67, of Springhill Avenue, died Monday, June 11, 2007, in a Mobile medical facility after an extended illness. She was a native and long time resident of Mobile and a former resident of Brewton. She was a member of Wallace Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elma Lee Clifton; and a brother, Tony Clifton.
She is survived by her father, Herbie Z. Clifton of Mobile; two daughters, Renee Carroll (Roy) Cain of Castleberry, and Tina Carroll Boatwright of Birmingham; a sister, Helen Mitchell of Mobile; three grandsons, Shane Cain, Chris Cain, and Anthony Cain; and one sister-in-law, Gloria Clifton of Brewton.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 14, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 14, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred White officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Methodist Church Cemetery in Wallace with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
