Flomaton
Mr. James Archie Monie, 68, died Saturday, June 9, 2007, at his Flomaton residence. He was a native of Castleberry and had been a resident of Flomaton for the past three years. He was a truck driver and a member of Precious Grace Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Monie of Flomaton; two sons, James Joey (Wanda) Monie of East Brewton, and William Eric Stanford of Flomaton; two daughters, Vickie (Robert) Cosey of East Brewton, and Jessica Stanford of Flomaton; one sister, Lois Sheets of Brewton; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 12, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with the Rev. Wallace Reid officiating. Burial followed at Cedar Creek Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Tommy Bush, Quinton Worrell, Andy Monie, John Norris, Eric Stanford and Benny Salter.
