Brown records hole-in-one at Country Club of Brewton
Judy Brown of Brewton fired in a hole-in-one on the seventh hole at the Country Club of Brewton course.
Brown's shot traveled 127 yards. She used an 11-wood club on her shot.
Rosters set for Babe Ruth All-Star squads
Rosters have been announced for the Brewton Babe Ruth League 13, 14 and 15-year-old all-star teams.
Members of the 13-year-olds include Joseph Strength, Reid Johnson, Eli Tyree, Conner Denton, Logan Williamson, Curtis Glaize, Monterious Culliver, Gary McGraw, Hayden Cooper, Kameron Winn, Keith Bradley, Collin Graves, Tyler Nelms, Jaren Jackson and Houston Pace.
Head coach for the 13-year-olds is Randy Denton. Assistant coaches are Gary Clements and Jeff Jackson.
Members of the 14-year-olds include Wil Riggs, Bryant Jernigan, Devlin Crosby, Christian Lodge, Tyler Sawyer, Michael McGaha, Ryland Dixon, Dan Smith, Cody Bradley, Bradley Brown, Cody Swain, Spencer Waldrep, Trent Robinson and Ed Hines.
Head coach for the 14-year-olds is Tom Jernigan. Assistant coaches are Joseph Turner and Keith Dixon.
Members of the 15-year-olds is Shane Jerkins, Dylan Smith, Tyson Godwin, Corey Rilling, Brian Sims, Paul Miller, Robert Knowles, Paul Busby, Stephen Warren, Dodson Herrington, Nick Moore, Michael Kast and Josh Palmer.
Head coach of the 15-year-old is David Knowles. Assistant coaches are Randy Rilling and Robbie Warren.
The district tournament for the 13-year-olds will be played at Brewton. Pairings for all three tournaments have not been announced yet. The location for the 14 and 15-year-old district tournaments has not been announced.

It came down to ten thousandths of a point before Conner Denton of the Twins nosed out teammate Dylan Smith for the 2007 Brewton Babe Ruth batting championship.
Denton was 28-for-47 for an average of .5957446, while Smith was 25-for-42 for an average of .595238. Denton's official average is rounded up to .596, while Smith's official average is .595.
The next three hitters were Robert Knowles of the Nationals at .553, Cody Swain of the Devil Rays at .500 and Stephen Warren of the Marlins at .452.
The rest of the top 10 included a tie for sixth place between Trent Robinson of the Orioles and Joseph Strength of the Nationals at .436, Logan Williamson of the Orioles in eighth place at .432, Josh
Palmer of the Nationals in nine place at .421 and Bradley
Brown of the Twins in 10th place at .390.
