The red hair and big, floppy shoes make Ronald McDonald a recognizable figure around the world. That figure will be making a special visit to Brewton next week to meet with the residents of the community.
Alvarado said Ronald will be visiting Brewton to thank area residents for their contributions to the Ronald McDonald House foundation.
As part of the thank you celebration, the local McDonalds will host Ronald at the South Boulevard location on Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. During the two-hour event, customers will enjoy interaction with Ronald as well as free refreshments Alvarado said.
Alvarado urges those who come to join in the celebration to bring their cameras for an opportunity to get photos with Ronald.
