Brewton's Hope Place, a family resource center, was the recipient of $65,000 in grant funds to help fund programs and services offered by the center.
Greg Smith, field director of Children's Trust Fund, issuer of the grant, was on hand at The Hope Place Monday to present the check to center director Vicki Fussell.
Fussell said the grant funds will be used to run The Hope Place and an after-school learning center at Brewton Middle School. Funds will also be used to provide family support and parent education services.
