Mr. Russell Tyrell Cameron, 27, died Monday June 11, 2007, in a Columbus hospital. He was a native and long time resident of Brewton before moving to Mississippi. He was of the Protestant faith, a 1998 graduate of T.R. Miller High School, a 2002 graduate of Troy State, and employed as a manager with Sherwin-Williams.
He is survived by his mother, Debbie (Sandy) Hardee of Brewton; his father, Tommy (Debra) Cameron of Brewton; his grandparents, Calvin and Sally Cain, and Ruby Cameron, all of Brewton; a sister, Tania Cameron Delpozo of Crestview, Fla.; step-sister, Ashley Hardee of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; and two step-brothers, Joshua Stinson of Birmingham and Allen Stinson of Italy.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 15, at 10:30 a.m. at Brewton First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ed Glaize and Speaker Robert Worth officiating. Burial followed at Weaver Cemetery on Appleton Road, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
