The Brewton Little League Age 10-11 All-Stars will open up state tournament play at Jackson Saturday with a 5:30 p.m. contest against the District 6 champion.
The District 6 champion has not been announced although it is the tri-city area of Russellville, Muscle Shoals and Tuscumbia.
If Brewton wins its first game, it will play next Sunday at 5:30 p.m. If Brewton loses its first game, it will play in the elimination bracket July 16 at 5:30 p.m.
The complete pairings will be announced later this week.
Brewton won the District 5 championship with an 11-1 win over Andalusia and a 12-1 victory over Covington County. Both games lasted three and a half innings.
The Jackson field is located behind the Jackson Steak House on Highway 43.
