Mrs. Myrtle Nix, 81, died Sunday, July 1, 2007 at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Escambia County. She was a homemaker and a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Greenwood and Diane Carpenter, both of East Brewton; one sister, Lillie Hammac of Mobile; four grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 3, at 10 a.m. at the Chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with the Rev. Adam Armstrong officiating. Burial followed at Fort Crawford Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
