Gomez has interception in south win over North
T.R. Miller graduate Justin Gomez came up with a key interception Friday to help the South beat the North 10-0 in the state's North-South All-Star Game played at Alabama A&M University at Huntsville.
Gomez's interception came deep in South territory in the fourth quarter off a deflected pass that bounced off the hands of Columbia receiver Josh Maclin.
