Brewton's branch of Regions Bank is among 228 branches that recently unveiled the corporation's new signs, which marks the completion of a merger of the Regions Financial Corporation and AmSouth Banks.
Branch Manager Tammy McClelland said customers of the Brewton branch shouldn't experience any interruptions in service as a result of the merger.
McClelland said customers may see an increase in the services offered in the future as a result of the merger with AmSouth Banks.
Corporate officials are also excited about the merger acknowledging a smooth conversion process in recent months.
The merger reinforces Regions' standing as Alabama's largest bank and makes Regions Financial Corporation the ninth-largest bank holding company in the United States. The unveiling action completes the most visible symbol of a transformation that began last May when the two companies announced their merger.
Regions local branch is located at 1116 Douglas Ave. in Brewton.
