Mrs. Ella Mae Harris James, 79, of Thomas Road in the Edendale community, died Saturday, July 21, 2007, at a Pensacola health care facility after a short illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Escambia County, Ala., and was a homemaker. She was a faithful member of the Edendale Holiness Church.
She is survived by a son, Leo (Brenda) James of Brewton; a daughter, Margaret (Tommy) Hall of Brewton; and three grandchildren, Tania Hall, Brandon James, and Bryan James.
Funeral services were held at Monday, July 23, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Brother Aaron Brock and Brother Deane officiating. Burial followed at Edendale Church Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
